Howdy folks!

Today we are overjoyed to announce that we are integrating Let’s Encrypt free SSL certificates with all of our shared web hosting solutions. This is a major step towards a more secure and private internet.

What is Let’s Encrypt?

Let’s Encrypt is a free, automated, and open certificate authority (CA), run for the public’s benefit. It is a service provided by the Internet Security Research Group (ISRG).

Let’s Encrypt gives people the digital certificates they need in order to enable HTTPS (SSL/TLS) for websites, for free, in the most user-friendly way.

Why Do I Need an SSL Certificate?

Customers know a site has SSL when they see the assuring green padlock in their URL bar. In fact, many customers refuse to do business with a site that doesn’t have SSL.

SSL encrypts data being communicated by your website to and from your visitors, helping to protect user data and prevent identity theft. Therefore increasing customer confidence as they know their data is protected.

Therefore, if your website handles private information about your visitors, you should definitely take advantage of a free Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate to protect this information.
