Installing a free SSL certificate with Let's Encrypt  Print this Article

SSL certificates ensure all web traffic between a web server and a web browser is secured through encryption. When an SSL certificate is installed on your hosting account, it will activate the green padlock in your website visitors' web browser, and the application protocol will change to "https".

Step 1: Login to cPanel via the Jolly Leaf Tree House.

Step 2: Click Lets Encrypt under the Security heading.

Step 3: Click Issue next to the domain name you would like to install the SSL certificate for.

You can only install Let's Encrypt SSL certificates for domain names that are registered to your hosting account. If you have not added your domain name, you can add your domain as an addon domain.
