Changing cPanel password Print this Article
You can effortlessly change your cPanel password via the Jolly Leaf Tree House, or via cPanel directly.
Note: Changing your cPanel password will also change your default FTP account password.
Changing your cPanel password via the Jolly Leaf Tree house (recommended)
Step 1: Login to the Jolly Leaf Tree House.
Step 2: Click Hosting on the left-hand-side and then My Hosting.
Step 3: Click Manage Product to manage your web hosting account.
Step 4: Click Change Password.
Step 5: Enter and confirm your new password, and click Save Changes.
Changing your cPanel password via cPanel
Step 1: Login to cPanel.
Step 2: Click the User Preferences in the top right corner, and then click Password & Security.
Step 3: Enter your current cPanel password, your new cPanel password and click Change your password now!
Tip: Use the Password Generator for extra security.
